Psy.), option neuropsychologie clinique \u00e0 l\u2019Universit\u00e9 du Qu\u00e9bec en Outaouais, dans le but de devenir neuropsychologue. Elle effectue son essai doctoral sous la supervision de la professeure Claudine Jacques. Amira est actuellement coordonnatrice de recherche pour le projet <em>Une Autre Intelligence<\/em> \u00e0 l&rsquo;H\u00f4pital en Sant\u00e9 Mentale Rivi\u00e8re-des-Prairies.<br><br>Avant d\u2019entamer son doctorat en psychologie, Amira a compl\u00e9t\u00e9 son baccalaur\u00e9at en psychologie \u00e0 l\u2019Universit\u00e9 de Montr\u00e9al en 2021. D\u00e8s le d\u00e9but de ses \u00e9tudes post-secondaires, elle s\u2019est impliqu\u00e9e aupr\u00e8s de jeunes ayant un trouble du spectre de l\u2019autisme et\/ou une d\u00e9ficience intellectuelle en tant qu\u2019animatrice sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9e. C\u2019est lors de ces exp\u00e9riences professionnelles avec des client\u00e8les neuro-atypiques qu\u2019elle a d\u00e9couvert l\u2019univers intriguant de la neurodiversit\u00e9. Ses exp\u00e9riences en relation d\u2019aide l\u2019ont men\u00e9e \u00e0 d\u00e9velopper un vif int\u00e9r\u00eat pour l\u2019\u00e9tude des troubles neuropsychologiques et plus particuli\u00e8rement pour l\u2019autisme. Son essai doctoral portera sur le langage en autisme. Il sera question d\u2019investiguer la trajectoire d\u00e9veloppementale du langage r\u00e9p\u00e9titif chez les enfants autistes \u00e0 l\u2019aide de contextes d\u2019observation semi-structur\u00e9e. En utilisant ces contextes, il sera possible d\u2019\u00e9valuer la trajectoire du langage chez cette population, de l\u2019\u00e2ge pr\u00e9scolaire \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e2ge scolaire, et ce, en association avec le profil intellectuel.
