Les travaux de recherche qu\u2019elle m\u00e8ne dans le cadre de sa th\u00e8se sont co-dirig\u00e9s par Isabelle Souli\u00e8res, professeure au D\u00e9partement de psychologie de l\u2019UQAM, et Claudine Jacques, professeure au D\u00e9partement de psycho\u00e9ducation et de psychologie. <br><br>D\u00e8s son baccalaur\u00e9at en psychologie, qu\u2019elle a compl\u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019Universit\u00e9 de Montr\u00e9al sous le cheminement Honor, les int\u00e9r\u00eats de recherche de Camille se sont d\u00e9finis dans le domaine l\u2019autisme. Alors que les expressions faciales \u00e9motionnelles (EFE) des enfants autistes sont parfois d\u00e9crites comme \u00ab bizarres \u00bb ou \u00ab ambigu\u00ebs \u00bb, dans les \u00e9tudes scientifiques, les EFE sont la vaste majorit\u00e9 du temps \u00e9valu\u00e9es par des personnes neurotypiques et non-expertes en autisme. Il serait possible que ces derni\u00e8res \u00e9prouvent de la difficult\u00e9 \u00e0 bien d\u00e9coder les expressions \u00e9motionnelles autistiques. C\u2019est pour cette raison qu\u2019il importe de sonder des experts en autisme issus de diff\u00e9rents milieux afin de mieux caract\u00e9riser les EFE des enfants autistes.
